Advanced Battery Manufacturing Workshop
16-17 April
In-person & online
CNT Innovation supported the sister company, Cambridge Nanomaterials Technology, with the event: Advanced Battery Manufacturing Workshop. The Advanced Battery Manufacturing Workshop was a hybrid event held on 16–17 April 2026 at Homerton College, University of Cambridge, and online. This two‑day workshop was co-organised and supported by the battery projects:
- BATTwin – Flexible and scalable digital-twin platform for enhanced production efficiency and yield in battery cell production lines – project (BATTwin).
- AM4BAT – Gen. 4b Solid State Li-ion Battery by Additive Manufacturing (Am4bat Project), and;
- BatCAT – Battery Cell Assembly Twin (BatCAT | NMBU),
Around 60 participants attended in person over the two days, with approximately 100 participants joining online.
This workshop was featured in the Cambridge Independent, which published a short article about the event in its print edition (see below) as well as an online version you can read at this link.
The event brought together representatives from nine other projects. You can find their logos shown below.
